Steel Diamond was awarded the welding contract for the Eastern Goldfields Gas Pipeline from Murrin Murrin to Tropicana. The 293km gas transmission pipeline will be used for the purpose of fueling gas fired power generation at both mine sites.
It was a successful campaign with a turnaround of 55 days and a repair rate of 0.89%. With an outstanding safety record by client and contractor of zero lost time injuries.
